Going back to Conrad Shawcross' work, I realised I could probably find a way to use projection with an object like a patterned lamp for the space. 

Here's the kind of ideas I was looking at on Pinterest:

I created a small wooden cube and stuck some fabric to the sides using making tape. With one side left uncovered, it could sit on the projection screen and made some lovely patterns.
