So since creating my own little cube I discovered the work of Anila Quayyum Agha. Her work is inspired by her own culture, originating in Pakistan and religious patterns and influences can be seen in her work.

I think the effect is so clever! Here's some of my own images from this week's work involving the cube. I used a covered space and a collection of fairy lights since I didn't have a bulb:
